01 — The problem

Information is infinite.
Criterion is scarce.

In the AI era, everyone has infinite information and instant answers. What stays scarce is the criterion to act correctly under pressure — to know which signal matters and which move is right, not merely which one worked.

Off-the-shelf AI adds more information; it does not develop judgment. Leaders decide with an overloaded, reactive mind and no repeatable discipline for finding the real centre of a hard decision.

The Mo Gun in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi — lineage seals above the altar

The criterion was never a theory. It was trained, in a room, under pressure.

02 — Faat Do · the solution

It does not decide for you. It is a mirror.

Faat Do is named for what it develops: an internal standard precise enough to judge the correctness of your own action in real time — without waiting for the outcome to tell you. It holds two questions at every decision.

The outcome question

“Did this work?”

The one everyone already asks. Answered only after the fact, by whatever happened to happen.

The criterion question

“Was this correct?”

Judged independent of the outcome. This is what Faat Do trains.

Grounded in the Moy Yat Ving Tsun lineage as transmitted by Grand Master Leo Imamura. No physical practice required.

03 — The principles

Three lenses, not a checklist.

You never need the Chinese. Every idea below is stated in plain working language first — the philosophy is the depth layer, not the entry point.

In plain wordsWhat we mean, said the way you would say it
Your centre
Being at ease, balanced and confident in a situation. If you are rattled, reactive or scrambling, you have lost it.
Losing your centre
Being knocked off balance by pressure — talking faster, deciding faster, saying yes too quickly, or freezing.
Economy of action
Not doing more than the situation calls for. Most people over-respond under pressure — more words, more meetings, more effort than the problem needs.
Softness
Working with what is actually happening instead of fighting it. Redirecting rather than colliding head-on.

Centrality

Bat Tiu Yeuk

Do Not Jump

Under pressure, capable people are displaced from their centre one locally-justified move at a time. Hold the centre.

Economy of action

Saang Hei Lik

Conserve Energy

Spend exactly what the situation requires — no more.

Adaptive intelligence

Yau Sun

Softness That Accompanies

Receive fully before responding; bend like bamboo where the oak breaks.

04 — The arc

A cycle by which the criterion becomes your own.

Sau

Stabilise

Find the centre before anything moves. Establish what correct even means here.

Poh

Test · Rupture

Pressure the standard until it breaks or holds. Nothing untested is yours.

Lei

Detach

The criterion no longer needs the teacher, the app, or the rule. It is simply how you see.

The enemy it removes

“Destructive success.”

Winning by force reinforces the habit until the context shifts and it fails. The win was real. The move was not correct.

05 — What it feels like

It asks. You answer. Nothing is decided for you.

An illustrative exchange. Advance it at your own pace.

Faat Do · session

I have to decide by Friday whether to remove my co-founder. Everyone is waiting on me.

Centrality · Bat Tiu Yeuk

Friday is a date someone chose. Which part of the pressure is the decision, and which part is the deadline? Before any answer: what would you have to see to know the move was correct, even if it went badly?

Illustrative — not a live model.
06 — The product

It knows when the pressure is coming.

Three things a general-purpose assistant cannot do: read your whole week, prepare you the night before it matters, and know who it is talking to.

Every calendar, not one

One centre, read from every direction it is under pressure from.

Faat Do reads across every calendar you actually use — work, personal, shared and team. The point is not more data. It is not missing the meeting that matters because it lived on a calendar nothing was looking at.

Context

Three calendars, one Thursday. Faat Do sees the week as you will actually live it.

Tomorrow, 09:00. Three people, one of whom has already decided. What is actually being settled in that room?

Who is in the room — and who is not, but is affected. What is being decided, stripped of the agenda title. One question worth sitting with overnight.

The night before

Preparation, not a briefing document.

The evening before a high-stakes meeting, Faat Do surfaces a short preparation prompt: who is in the room, what is actually being decided, and one question worth sitting with overnight. A mental warm-up — you sleep on it, and arrive already centred.

Calibrated before it speaks

It asks who you are before it says anything.

Advice that is right for an individual contributor is wrong for a founder. A founder weighing an acquisition and a manager weighing a hard conversation are both making “strategic decisions” — but the stakes, the reversibility and who else is affected are entirely different.

Not a demographic field. It changes what kind of guidance is appropriate.

Step 1 of 2

What kind of decisions do you actually make?

07 — Guardrails

Faat Do helps you prepare for a decision. It does not make it.

It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical or mental-health advice. The system reflects your situation back to you through a set of strategic lenses; it never tells you what to do, and it cannot know everything about your situation the way you do.

This is stated on a dedicated screen before first use — in plain language, requiring an affirmative action to continue. A disclaimer nobody reads protects no one.

Decision support — never decision-making.

Escalation — anything touching legal risk, money, health or safety is directed to a licensed professional.

No verdicts — the system withholds recommendation by design, not by limitation.

Before we start

Faat Do sharpens how you think about a decision — it does not decide for you.

Think of it as mental preparation, not a verdict. It reflects your situation back to you; it never tells you what to do.

It is not a substitute for a lawyer, financial advisor, doctor or therapist. For anything involving legal risk, money, health or safety, please speak to a licensed professional.

I understand Faat Do is a thinking tool, not a decision-maker.

08 — Why it is different

The system refused to simplify.

That depth is the moat.

Licensed lineage material

Our corpus is transmitted teaching, not public-domain text anyone can scrape.

A discipline, not answers

We develop a criterion. Advice is the thing we deliberately withhold.

A physical network behind it

The app feeds an existing global network of schools. The practice does not end on the screen.

Something structurally unfair.

A 300-year lineage and its living successor, paired with a technical co-founder who has already shipped AI agents into safety-critical operations at global scale. Not a combination a well-funded competitor can assemble by hiring well.

An 11th-generation Senior Master in the Moy Yat Ving Tsun lineage, direct disciple of Grand Master Leo Imamura and Guardian of the Global Headquarters in Abu Dhabi — authority that is not hired, only inherited. And, in parallel, fifteen years a business executive in global technology and telecom: P&L up to £35M across some fifty global accounts, including the €450M FIAT contract, C-level negotiation, Lean and Six Sigma. Leo Imamura

Grand Master · the corpus

Founder of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Safeguard Group and a Grand Master of the art for forty years, he leads the largest Ving Tsun lineage in Latin America and one of the most significant branches of the Ip Man tradition anywhere. Received directly by Patriarch Moy Yat in New York in 1988 as Moy Yat Sang, among the first non-Chinese disciples inscribed in the genealogical record. He carried the system's strategy into universities, police tactical units and UN Peacekeeping forces. Not an advisory relationship — the living source of the material itself.
